I just realized that I haven't updated my journal in quite a while.

And there's still the features that I need to post...

Sorry if I've been kinda... here but not here. I've been distracted for a while.

You see, there are things that you come across that changes pretty much your whole view of things, whatever it is in your case. And once that happens, there is no way to change it back to what it was or to ignore it altogether and that's the shitty part. The knowing that no matter how much you try to ignore it by whatever means, getting drunk, stoned, whatever, it will still be there, once the hangover kicks in or the high ends, you'll be back to it, reality will be there and it will greet you with a punch to the face. And you'll remember why you started drinking in the first place. That's no excuse though, but I digress.

So, in my case, it changed my whole perspective of someone. Things were learnt, questions got answered, tears were shed and some really bad jokes were told. And while all that sucks so much, in hindsight, everything makes sense now. Though some questions did get answered, many more questions appeared, ones that I don't want to ask in fear of the answers, or just asking them. Oh well, one more thing to shove in the back of my mind. If possible.

Probably tomorrow I'll finish the feature with the people that are left.

Anyway, halloween was today, here is the day for kids to go around the street and yell to get candy. Which, by the way, is the best way to get them for free, if you ask me. For people 18 or more, is just an excuse to get drunk while in costume. Guess in which one of those I will be ?
